A city steeped in history, so much so as to be considered an open-air museum open. Walking through the historic centre of Rimini is like going back in time: the Augustus Arch and Tiberius Bridge, symbols of the Roman era; the Malatesta Temple and Castel Sismondo recall the Renaissance period.
The narrow streets of the centre are also coloured by traditional workshops, restaurants, clubs and shops.
But a holiday in Rimini cannot be without the traditional dishes from Romagna such as piadina with squacquerone cheese, cappelletti in broth (yes, we eat them even in summer!) and a good glass of Sangiovese.
